Terms

Terms of Use

Plain language, because terms you can't read aren't terms you agreed to. By using this website or a Velorin account, you accept what follows.

Last updated: October 20, 2026

Where things stand

Velorin is under active development and currently in pre-launch. Joining the waitlist reserves a place in line — it is not a purchase, a subscription, or a guarantee of access, timing, or any particular feature. Features shown on this site describe the product being built; they may change before launch, and some are still being forged.

Accounts

  • Accounts open by invitation while Velorin is in pre-launch.
  • You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.
  • Provide accurate information when you sign up — a waitlist position tied to an unreachable address can't be honored.

Your content is yours

The campaigns, worlds, characters, and other material you create in Velorin belong to you. You grant us only the license needed to host, store, and display that content back to you and the players you invite — nothing more. We claim no ownership over your table's creations.

Acceptable use

  • Don't attack, probe, or overload the service, or bypass its rate limits and access controls.
  • Don't use Velorin to infringe anyone's rights or to break the law.
  • Don't impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with Velorin.

Game content & trademarks

Velorin includes game content drawn from the System Reference Document 5.1, used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. Velorin is an independent project: it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast. All other trademarks and copyrighted material belong to their respective owners.

Availability & warranty

During development the service is provided "as is", may change or go offline without notice, and may contain bugs — including, occasionally, the kind that eat a Tuesday. We work to protect your campaign data, but you should keep your own copies of anything irreplaceable.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Velorin and its maker are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes & contact

These terms may be updated as Velorin moves toward launch; the current version always lives at this address, and material changes will be announced to the waitlist. A dedicated contact address will be published here when our domain goes live.
